Fic Annoucement: Auld Lange Syne!

adrianneb78239There is one little known fact about me, that my friends, and my family doesn't know. Its a secret that I keep to myself, but now I'm sharing with you guys... I' m a wedding nut!! I watch “Whose Wedding Is it anyway”, “Say Yes To The Dress”, and I have announcement on the The Knot Dot Com. The sad thing is I'm single a single lesbian.
, The single part can be rectified, however the Lesbian thing is where things could get a little sticky. In my home state, of Texas, Marriage is defined as “One Man, One Woman.” So I couldn't get legally married to my princess charming even I wished to. However, things are changing at the moment, if you haven't heard through the great vine. a trial is going on right now in The California Supreme Court. A lesbian couple, and a gay couple filed suit in the Californian Supreme Court to challenge those results because they feel it is unconstitutional. The whole of the world is watching, and it gives me hope that one day we of the GLBT community will have equality in the country.
And so I decided to write a wedding of my two favorite boys getting married. Harry Potter & Draco Malfoy in the story called 'Auld Lang Syne'. The story will follow their process from the engagement, to wedding reception. I also would like to understand, that in the United Kingdom, they have already had a civil partnership law for the last few years. Making them way ahead of us in the equality department. In a couple of days, I will be making fake invitations, and other wedding stationary so you can download at your leisure. The Story will start next week.
